First Look: Night Fision Precision Optic Plates

Night Fision is introducing its newest innovation, the Precision Optic Plate product line. Designed with both end users and OEM partners in mind, this new offering delivers durable optic mounting solutions which eliminate guesswork and increases red dot compatibility.

Engineered from 17-4 stainless steel and finished with a black-nitride coating, each Night Fision Precision Optic Plate is machined to tight tolerances for a secure fit, maximum recoil resistance and long-term reliability. Unlike lower-grade alternatives, these plates won’t warp, shear or leave gaps between the plate and firearm. The initial release includes models compatible with Glock full size and slimline MOS pistols as well as CZ P-10 Optics Ready, Sig Sauer P320 Pro Cut and Springfield Hellcat OSP firearms.

“Our commitment has always been to deliver the highest-quality handgun sights on the market, and launching a premium optic plate line is a natural evolution,” said Alex Karchon, vice president. “We designed these plates to match the same level of precision and reliability Night Fision is known for—whether you’re an individual consumer or one of our OEM partners.”

Each optic plate comes packaged with clearly labeled screw packs and an installation tool that also functions as a windage and elevation adjustment tool for added value and ease of use.

Precision Optic Plates are available in two configurations: Stand-alone optic plates for shooters who already have their preferred sight setup, and plate and backup sight combo kits featuring Night Fision’s most popular lower-⅓ co-witness sight heights that are pre-selected to pair with common red dot footprints.

Customers can choose between blacked out iron sights or a combination featuring a tritium front sight and blank rear with anti-glare serrations. The tritium front sights use Night Fision’s patented domed lenses—optically engineered to amplify brightness. These lenses focus light emitted from tritium vials packed with more gas than most night sights on the market, producing a crisp, bright green dot in low-light conditions. All sights are CNC-machined from high-quality steel and coated in a durable nitride finish.

“Our goal is to be the first and final stop for customers upgrading their pistol with an optic,” added CJ Karchon, vice president of Night Fision. “We’ve taken the guesswork out of red dot installation and co-witness sight selection. It’s convenience, performance, and precision—all in one package.”

Night Fision’s Precision Optic Plates and combo kits are now available through Night Fision’s website. Additional plates for other firearm models and optic footprints are also in development. For more information on these products, or other Night Fision offerings, visit nightfision.com.
