Speaker 1: Welcome to Meat Eater Trivia, the only game show where conservation always wins. There is a prize. Meat Eater will donate $ 500 to the conservation organization of the winner’s choosing. I’m your host, Spencer Newarth, and today we’re joined by Giannis, Randall, Brody, Corey, Marge, Seth, and Dane Williams. This is a 10-round quiz show with questions from Meadeater’s four verticals, which are hunting, fishing, conservation, and cooking. Meadeater Trivia is brought to you by one of my favorite beers, Bush Light. Bush Light, head to the mountains. Dane, this is your first time on the show. Tell folks what you do here at Meadeater.

00:00:43
Speaker 2: I’m on the social media team as a social media and community coordinator, so I work with Alex and Nick.

00:00:52
Speaker 1: Okay, so anytime someone is talking smack about Yanni, you have to read that.

00:00:57
Speaker 3: Yes.

00:00:57
Speaker 1: Send it to Yanni.

00:00:58
Speaker 2: I send everyone to him.

00:01:01
Speaker 1: Dane, what are your strengths and weaknesses here at Meat Eater Trivia between hunting, fishing, conservation, and cooking?

00:01:08
Speaker 2: Hunting and conservation, definitely strengths. Cooking and fishing are going to be my.

00:01:14
Speaker 4: Weaknesses for sure.

00:01:16
Speaker 1: Dane, a big predator hunter. He owns a dog that I think is the first dog of that breed in the office. What is it? What is that thing you have?

00:01:22
Speaker 2: I have a Catahoula leopard dog.

00:01:24
Speaker 1: I don’t think we’ve had one of those.

00:01:25
Speaker 2: And I have a mutt.

00:01:27
Speaker 1: Okay.

00:01:27
Speaker 4: They’re both coyote decoy dogs.

00:01:29
Speaker 1: Two good, well-behaved dogs. Welcome to the show, Dane.

00:01:31
Speaker 4: Thank you. All right.

00:01:32
Speaker 1: We’re starting today’s show with a mailbag question. If you have a question you want the trivia crew to answer, then send your question with the subject line mailbag to trivia at the meat eater.com. This is from Django Holt. He says, I recently inherited a lever action 30 30 from a family friend that passed away. I haven’t shot it yet, but it’s a beautiful gun. However, I’m not totally sure what to use it for. I deer and elk hunt in Oregon, and most of the shooting I do is much longer than the accurate range of a 30-30. Any suggestions on practical uses for this gun? Would love to hear the crew’s thoughts. Seth didn’t even accept this invite to trivia until I sent out this mailbag question, and then he accepted the invite because Seth is so passionate about this subject. Seth, what should Django do with that 30-30 he inherited? Well.

00:02:22
Speaker 4: He should do a lot of timber sneaking with that thing.

00:02:24
Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah.

00:02:26
Speaker 5: Get in the timber, get real close to him, be quiet, still hunt, and then shoot stuff real close.

00:02:35
Speaker 1: Okay. Brody, another 30-30 owner. Any advice for Django?

00:02:39
Speaker 6: Use it to break out of that long-range shooting mode and practice sneaking in on stuff. Like, dudes kill them with bows. There’s no reason you can’t sneak into 100 yards.

00:02:48
Speaker 7: And shoot one with a 30-30.

00:02:48
Speaker 8: Okay.

00:02:50
Speaker 1: Randall, if tomorrow you inherited Brody’s 30-30, what would you do with it?

00:02:56
Speaker 4: Put a big old scope on it.

00:02:56
Speaker 8: Well, I actually don’t… Yeah. Bipod, scope, add some rails. I actually, I don’t think I’ve owned a 30-30. Wow, okay. I did for a while. My absolute favorite rifle was a 45-70 lever action. I sold that because I just was like, I don’t frequently shoot things under 100 yards.

00:03:18
Speaker 3: And then.

00:03:20
Speaker 8: I was going out lion hunting and I thought, my God, I don’t have anything to shoot like a cat out of a tree with. So I drove all over Missoula looking for used deals on lever actions because it seemed like the perfect tool for that job.

00:03:36
Speaker 1: What’d you find?

00:03:38
Speaker 8: Well, I wasn’t flush with cash at the time and I couldn’t find a good deal. So I ended up shooting that cat with a 20 gauge slug gun. But had I had a 30-30 lever action, like you never know.

00:03:48
Speaker 1: Okay.

00:03:49
Speaker 8: That’s the larger point of the story is you never know when you might have an opportunity where it’s just the perfect, perfect tool for the job. So it’s just, it’s also a classic, a classic rifle.

00:04:01
Speaker 3: I mean.

00:04:02
Speaker 1: Missoula doesn’t seem like 30-30 country. That’s not where you walk into a sporting goods store and find a good selection of 30-30s.

00:04:10
Speaker 8: I don’t know. I feel like everybody’s dad or grandpa has had a 30-30 lever action at some point, right? And a lot of those guns make the circuit. But yeah, now that I think about it on the forums, I haven’t seen a lot of them moving. Strange times.

00:04:27
Speaker 1: Any other advice for Django?

00:04:30
Speaker 8: No, I love his name.

00:04:31
Speaker 4: Cool name.

00:04:32
Speaker 1: Good name.

00:04:33
Speaker 8: And if you just think he wants a practical use for it.

00:04:36
Speaker 1: Practical use.

00:04:37
Speaker 8: Unless he’s counting blasting because it’s also just a fun gun to shoot.

00:04:41
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:04:41
Speaker 8: Set up some Coke cans and.

00:04:44
Speaker 4: Pick up your trash.

00:04:45
Speaker 8: Pick up your trash. Pick up your trash, of course.

00:04:47
Speaker 1: What would be real practical is if he can’t find a use for it, go sell it, Django. Like if I died and I gave my gun to Seth and Seth turned around and sold it, I wouldn’t be the least bit offended because I’d be dead. So, Django, if you need to sell that gun to get a gun that you will use, that’s my advice.

00:05:03
Speaker 8: Fair point.

00:05:04
Speaker 4: Randall sells guns all the time. Too much.

00:05:07
Speaker 1: That’s why so many ghosts haunt him.

00:05:09
Speaker 9: Yeah.

00:05:09
Speaker 1: All right, no housekeeping today. The Shelby Index for this episode is a four, so our winner should get eight correct answers. With that, we’re on to the game of trivia. Play the drop, Phil. Look, I need to know what I stand to win.

00:05:25
Speaker 8: Everything. How’s that? is tend to win everything.

00:05:36
Speaker 5: Game on, suckers!

00:05:38
Speaker 1: Question one, the topic is fishing. This first great question is via Charlie McDonald. According to Noah, this was the most caught saltwater fish by recreational anglers in 2022. To be clear, this is American recreational anglers. Your four choices, flounder, bonefish, Spotted sea trout or redfish? This was the most caught saltwater fish by American recreational anglers in 2022. Flounder, bonefish, spotted sea trout, redfish. Brody, the quickest to answer. Brody, if I didn’t give you choices, would you come up with the same answer as what you wrote down?

00:06:23
Speaker 7: Probably not.

00:06:24
Speaker 1: Okay.

00:06:24
Speaker 7: And I mean, I’m just getting there. getting there through what seems a logical route.

00:06:32
Speaker 1: This was the most caught saltwater fish by anglers in 2022. Flounder, bonefish, spotted sea trout, redfish.

00:06:42
Speaker 8: Is 2022 the most recent year for which there’s available data? Is there something specific about that?

00:06:47
Speaker 1: That was the data that I could find because it seems as though they roll out this kind of information like every four years like the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service does.

00:06:56
Speaker 5: What I would love to know is the The amount of seafood that goes through the Ketchikan Airport.

00:07:02
Speaker 4: Is just unbelievable.

00:07:05
Speaker 1: They’re ready for you when you show up with a cooler full of fish, huh?

00:07:08
Speaker 7: They’re pros.

00:07:09
Speaker 3: Yeah.

00:07:10
Speaker 4: Just the amount of fish boxes is insane.

00:07:14
Speaker 1: Is everybody ready? Marge, you’re doing some erasing. Go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Seth saying sea trout. Dane says redfish, Yanni, sea trout, Randall, flounder, Corey, sea trout, Marge, sea trout, Brody, sea trout. The correct answer is spotted sea trout. The room did well. It’s estimated that there were 55 million spotted sea trout caught by American anglers in 2022. In terms of weight, striped bass are at the top of the list with 36 million pounds of stripers caught that year. And scup were the most harvested fish with anglers taking home 18 million of those. Question to the top is conservation. What country has the most acres of taiga? That is T-A-I-G-A. What country has the most acres of taiga? Randall, back on track. You have this one right.

00:08:24
Speaker 8: I hope so, but I’ve lost all confidence.

00:08:26
Speaker 4: Okay.

00:08:27
Speaker 3: Oh, just after one?

00:08:28
Speaker 4: Yeah.

00:08:31
Speaker 5: Yeah.

00:08:31
Speaker 1: In my flavor text, there’s scup, S-C-U-P. Am I saying that right? Scup?

00:08:36
Speaker 8: Scup?

00:08:36
Speaker 1: I think it’s also a porgy. Am I saying that right?

00:08:40
Speaker 7: I think that’s right.

00:08:41
Speaker 8: Porgy’s right. Okay.

00:08:42
Speaker 1: What country has the most acres of taiga? Corey, you have this one right.

00:08:50
Speaker 3: What is a taiga?

00:08:51
Speaker 1: Don’t think so. T-A-I-G-A.

00:08:55
Speaker 8: Did you see my answer?

00:08:56
Speaker 10: Well, I dressed up in a taiga for Halloween one time.

00:09:00
Speaker 3: Tony the taiga.

00:09:01
Speaker 11: Giannis, I know you’re not wearing your headphones and you can’t tell, but you got to get close to that microphone.

00:09:05
Speaker 10: I thought I was yelling and projecting enough, but I guess that’s not the case.

00:09:09
Speaker 1: No headphones and no sleeves. It’s a bugle tube. When does this sleeveless bit come to an end, Yanni?

00:09:16
Speaker 3: When it gets too cold.

00:09:17
Speaker 1: Okay.

00:09:17
Speaker 4: When he’s six feet under.

00:09:18
Speaker 8: Oh, man.

00:09:21
Speaker 6: I mean, even when it’s cold, you can be hiking up the mountain and sleeveless.

00:09:25
Speaker 3: That’s true. I mean, they make vests. First Light makes vests.

00:09:29
Speaker 4: Does this error in your life make you want to get more tats on your arms?

00:09:33
Speaker 3: No.

00:09:34
Speaker 8: Or more jacked? Nope.

00:09:36
Speaker 4: Nope.

00:09:36
Speaker 3: Nope. What are you trying to say, man? I got more comfortable. Some pipes, man.

00:09:42
Speaker 8: Some pipelines.

00:09:43
Speaker 4: Oh, good. Yeah.

00:09:44
Speaker 8: Be doing curls.

00:09:45
Speaker 4: I support it.

00:09:46
Speaker 1: Again, we’re on question two.

00:09:47
Speaker 3: Yeah, did you cut off a couple?

00:09:49
Speaker 1: After we talked about it?

00:09:51
Speaker 4: I haven’t yet, but I’ll do it. I’m running out of summer.

00:09:55
Speaker 1: Is everybody ready?

00:09:56
Speaker 8: Aren’t we all? Aren’t we all?

00:09:58
Speaker 7: Did I write something down?

00:09:59
Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.

00:10:00
Speaker 4: Marge?

00:10:01
Speaker 3: Yeah, I wrote something down.

00:10:02
Speaker 1: Go ahead and reveal your answers. Seth says Russia. Dane without an answer. Yanni, Russia. Randall, Russia. Corey, Russia.

00:10:12
Speaker 3: Marge.

00:10:12
Speaker 1: What did it say, Marge?

00:10:14
Speaker 6: Mongolia.

00:10:14
Speaker 1: Mongolia. Brody, Russia. The correct answer is Russia. Taiga, which is also known as boreal forest, is a sub-Arctic landscape that’s covered in evergreen trees. It is the largest terrestrial biome in the world, covering about 60% of Russia and 17% of the Earth’s surface. The country with the second most taiga is, any guesses?

00:10:39
Speaker 8: Canada.

00:10:39
Speaker 1: Canada, that’s right. Good job, Room. We’re on to question three. The topic is hunting. Montana Knife Company defines this seven-letter butchering method as, quote, Where you skin and quarter the animal without opening the abdominal cavity. MKC defines this.

00:10:59
Speaker 7: Seven-letter butchering method.

00:11:01
Speaker 6: I think Giannis made this much more famous than MKC.

00:11:03
Speaker 7: Long before MKC did.

00:11:05
Speaker 1: This is where I could find a clean definition of this. MKC defines a seven-letter butchering method is where you skin and quarter the animal without opening the abdominal cavity.

00:11:17
Speaker 3: I still have a two-part video.

00:11:20
Speaker 10: Those are the only two videos on my own YouTube channel.

00:11:24
Speaker 4: Wow.

00:11:25
Speaker 1: When I was writing the flavor text for this, I came across that.

00:11:28
Speaker 4: Yeah.

00:11:28
Speaker 1: The publisher was Giannis Koutelis.

00:11:30
Speaker 10: Garrett and Barge are very excited about growing that YouTube channel with some content that might not be quite enough for the regular meat eater channel.

00:11:41
Speaker 3: Part three.

00:11:41
Speaker 8: But you still own the channel.

00:11:43
Speaker 4: Yeah, I do.

00:11:44
Speaker 1: I do. I do.

00:11:45
Speaker 8: You’re not going to sell out, are you?

00:11:46
Speaker 1: It’s going to be a tough negotiation.

00:11:47
Speaker 3: But we’ll see.

00:11:47
Speaker 1: Video three, how to cut your sleeves. MKC defines this seven-letter butchering method as where you skin and quarter the animal without opening the abdominal cavity. Is everybody ready? Go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Seth and Dane and Yanni and Randall and Corey and Brody saying gutless, Marge without an answer, the correct answer. is gutless. As the name implies, you leave the internal organs inside the carcass when doing the gutless method of butchering. This is popular among hunters who need to pack out the meat on their back. For more on this process, go read our article on TheMeatEater.com called Field Butchering Tips, Part 1, The Gutless Method. Or watch Yanni’s video on YouTube.

00:12:38
Speaker 8: And smash that like and subscribe button.

00:12:40
Speaker 3: That’s right, man! That’s what I’m talking about, buddy!

00:12:44
Speaker 1: Question four on the topic is ecology. This is our listener question of the week, which was won by Jesse Bartlett for sending this great question. Jesse is going to get a $ 150 First Light gift card. If you want a chance to win the listener question of the week, then send your question to trivia at themeadeater.com. The Pine Barrens, which is supposedly home to a devil… is a 1.1 million acre ecosystem located in this state. Looking for the state name. The Pine Barrens, which is supposedly home to a devil, is a 1.1 million acre ecosystem located in this state.

00:13:27
Speaker 3: I’d like to go to this place one time. I’ve never been there.

00:13:29
Speaker 8: Okay. It’s just a devil. Supposedly home to… Not a specific devil.

00:13:34
Speaker 1: A devil. I’m not going to go into any further detail on that.

00:13:39
Speaker 4: You might like it there, Yanni. Devil’s in the details.

00:13:44
Speaker 3: Yeah, I imagine I would.

00:13:46
Speaker 1: Brody, quick to answer. Randall, quick to answer. Yanni, quick to answer. Seth, quick to answer. Those four appear to know it. Dane, do you have this one right?

00:13:54
Speaker 7: Not sure, but I got an answer.

00:13:57
Speaker 1: The Pine Barrens, which is supposedly home to a devil. is a 1.1 million acre ecosystem.

00:14:02
Speaker 7: Located in this state.

00:14:05
Speaker 8: That’s pretty wrong.

00:14:06
Speaker 7: Okay, Corey.

00:14:09
Speaker 1: Randall has seen Corey’s answer.

00:14:10
Speaker 8: Corey, that’s pretty dang wrong, man.

00:14:13
Speaker 2: Now I’m questioning if my state has.

00:14:16
Speaker 1: Can you also look at Dane’s answer and tell him if his is pretty wrong or just a little wrong?

00:14:22
Speaker 2: I’m questioning if my state even has 1.1 million acres in it. You’re getting close.

00:14:30
Speaker 1: Randall, how wrong is Dane’s answer?

00:14:33
Speaker 8: He’s not nearly as wrong as Corey was.

00:14:35
Speaker 4: Can I change my answer?

00:14:37
Speaker 1: Brody, how wrong is Marge’s answer?

00:14:41
Speaker 8: Corey, you’d only get wronger if you went to Hawaii.

00:14:43
Speaker 7: On a scale of distance?

00:14:45
Speaker 1: Yeah, however wrong you think Randall was putting it in on his scale.

00:14:48
Speaker 8: Corey was considerably wrong.

00:14:50
Speaker 1: Marge was fairly wrong. Seems like a southern thing. Corey, Marge, Dane, are you changing your answers? It’s a southern thing.

00:14:59
Speaker 8: You got the wrong thing down too.

00:15:00
Speaker 3: I know, I know. Is it though?

00:15:02
Speaker 8: He says it seems like a southern thing and he wrote down Maine.

00:15:08
Speaker 1: That was actually a test to Randall to see if he could get more information.

00:15:14
Speaker 4: That’s not a bad guess though. No, it’s not.

00:15:16
Speaker 8: It’s actually a good guess.

00:15:16
Speaker 4: A lot of mines in Maine.

00:15:18
Speaker 1: Is everybody ready? Go ahead and reveal your answers. Set, New Jersey. Dane, Kentucky. Giannis, New Jersey. Randall, New Jersey. Corey, Florida. Marge, Missouri. Brody, New Jersey. The correct answer is New Jersey.

00:15:37
Speaker 2: Isn’t that their hockey team?

00:15:38
Speaker 8: Yeah, I knew it was a hockey team.

00:15:41
Speaker 2: I just didn’t know what state.

00:15:43
Speaker 4: I think I’m the only person in this room that lived in that state.

00:15:45
Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Have you been to the Pine Barrens?

00:15:47
Speaker 3: Nope.

00:15:48
Speaker 8: There’s a John McPhee book about the Pine Barrens.

00:15:50
Speaker 4: There’s a Sopranos episode.

00:15:51
Speaker 1: My favorite episode of Sopranos is the Pine Barrens episode. I think it’s just called Pine Barrens.

00:15:56
Speaker 5: Wow.

00:15:56
Speaker 1: You know what I love so much about that episode, Phil, is how they introduce the big, bad Russian fella who never returned. The whole rest of the series, I’m like, okay, he’s going to come back and I’m going to be the only one who saw it coming. And then he just never returns.

00:16:09
Speaker 7: But it’s great.

00:16:10
Speaker 1: It’s great storytelling. It was really well done.

00:16:11
Speaker 4: A lot of fun.

00:16:12
Speaker 3: Seth, what were you doing in New Jersey?

00:16:16
Speaker 4: I lived there for like 10 years. Hunting the timber?

00:16:18
Speaker 8: No, hunting the timber.

00:16:20
Speaker 3: Sneaking?

00:16:22
Speaker 4: My parents worked for my uncle who owned a pretty big landscaping.

00:16:26
Speaker 3: Oh, I see.

00:16:27
Speaker 4: You were there with your family.

00:16:28
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:16:29
Speaker 4: No, this was when I was real young.

00:16:31
Speaker 7: Got it.

00:16:31
Speaker 1: Yeah. The Pine Barrens cover about a quarter of New Jersey. The wilderness is named after the pitch pine that dominates the landscape and its poor soil that makes farming difficult. The Jersey Devil, who supposedly calls the forest home, was born there in 1735. It’s said that he was the 13th child of a woman who cursed him. And shortly after birth, he grew wings, a tail and claws, then flew off into the Pine Barrens. He was frequently seen in 1909 with hundreds of encounters reported to local newspapers. Later that year, the Philadelphia Zoo put out a $ 10, 000 reward for the capture of the Jersey Devil.

00:17:10
Speaker 4: I think this was on.

00:17:10
Speaker 8: A Joe Cermelli back in the day, B-side.

00:17:13
Speaker 2: I think I animated this now.

00:17:15
Speaker 1: He probably did that. I got this wrong. We’re looking at a sketch from the 1900s of the Jersey Devil. It’s like a kangaroo slash horse body statue. that’s bipedal and then it’s got big old devilish wings.

00:17:28
Speaker 8: It’s sort of like crane legs. What were those animals that Luke Skywalker rode?

00:17:33
Speaker 4: Tauntaun.

00:17:33
Speaker 8: Tauntaun. Yeah, the profile from the neck up is very similar to the Tauntaun. Without the horn, though.

00:17:39
Speaker 4: I thought they smelled bad on the outside.

00:17:40
Speaker 1: Good observations. Now you know everything about the Pine Barrens.

00:17:43
Speaker 8: And the tail is very strange.

00:17:47
Speaker 1: Yeah, it’s got like a turkey foot.

00:17:48
Speaker 3: At the end of his tail.

00:17:49
Speaker 1: Question five. The topic is cooking. The Glanton Gang eats pronghorn bone marrow in this author’s novel, Blood Meridian. The Glanton Gang eats pronghorn bone marrow in this author’s novel, Blood Meridian. The Publishing Boys, Brody and Randall. Real quick to answer.

00:18:15
Speaker 8: Yeah, more of that book shit.

00:18:16
Speaker 1: The rest of the room has blank white boards.

00:18:18
Speaker 7: I think you gotta be a publishing guy to know this one.

00:18:22
Speaker 3: But this one, it’s not really, I think you put it under cooking.

00:18:25
Speaker 4: Yeah, it’s cooking.

00:18:26
Speaker 1: They eat pronghorn bone marrow.

00:18:29
Speaker 3: Which is like.

00:18:30
Speaker 10: But really, the trivia is like, do you know who wrote Ploymeridian?

00:18:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, welcome to Meat Eater Trivia. Do you know who wrote Pronghorn?

00:18:41
Speaker 10: Yes, but it’s like, just doesn’t want to hit my.

00:18:45
Speaker 8: Arguably one of the finest novels in American literature.

00:18:48
Speaker 1: Okay, there’s a hint, and I agree with you. The Glanton Gang eat the pronghorn bone marrow in this author’s novel, Blood Meridian.

00:18:57
Speaker 8: You’d also know this if you’d listened to the most recent episode of the American West where we discuss our favorite Western literature.

00:19:02
Speaker 1: Oh, I didn’t know that. Okay, good plug. And this was a choice by you? I think Dan chose this. Brody and Randall, still the only players with an answer.

00:19:16
Speaker 6: Nah, really?

00:19:18
Speaker 5: Uh-huh.

00:19:20
Speaker 3: I know it. It is….

00:19:26
Speaker 4: Pretty sure this book’s sitting on my bookshelf.

00:19:28
Speaker 1: Uh-oh. Yanni is threatening his whiteboard right now. Yanni joining Randall and Brody with an answer.

00:19:38
Speaker 3: Is it correct?

00:19:39
Speaker 7: I can see what his last letter was. Okay.

00:19:42
Speaker 1: I was trying to watch, and I thought he had the first name right. Did I get the first two letters.

00:19:46
Speaker 8: Right there, bud?

00:19:47
Speaker 3: Uh-oh.

00:19:51
Speaker 8: More than the first two the glancing i thought you had it there.

00:19:55
Speaker 1: Eats pronghorn bone marrow in this author’s novel too many hints in this episode.

00:20:00
Speaker 10: There are a lot of come on randall we’re just having fun yeah.

00:20:06
Speaker 1: Is everybody ready Go ahead and reveal your answers. Seth says, Cormac McCarthy. Dane, without an answer. Yanni and Randall say, Cormac McCarthy. Corey says, McCloud. Marge, without an answer. Brody, Cormac McCarthy. The correct answer is Cormac McCarthy.

00:20:24
Speaker 8: That’s what I call him.

00:20:27
Speaker 1: Blood Meridian, which came out in 1985, is widely considered McCarthy’s magnum opus The book has often been called unfilmable with multiple Hollywood teams taking on the project and walking away. Directors have said the biggest challenges are the graphic violence and lack of traditional narrative. But Cormac McCarthy gave John Hillcoat his blessing before passing in 2023. And it’s said that Hillcoat is working on the script now. The latest update is that they are scouting for film locations and testing practical effects. Wow. That would be a wild guess. wildly challenging movie.

00:21:03
Speaker 8: Who’s John Hillcoat?

00:21:05
Speaker 4: I don’t know.

00:21:05
Speaker 1: I was counting on Phil to be like, Oh, John Hillcoat. He does really bad things. No, nothing.

00:21:10
Speaker 3: I was trying to make a name out of his first and last name. And my brain just kept saying McCormick.

00:21:15
Speaker 11: I’m like, it’s not a spice brand.

00:21:19
Speaker 4: All right.

00:21:20
Speaker 1: Now it’s time for our can am question of the week. Thanks to can am. You get some bonus trivia in this week’s episode. This does not count towards your score. It’s just for bragging rights. Here’s the question. The topic is gear. This seven-letter word is a piece of gear that lets swimmers breathe air and an ATV accessory that allows vehicles to be semi-submersed without taking water to the engine.

00:21:45
Speaker 11: It’s like John Hilko directed The Road, so he’s already.

00:21:50
Speaker 1: In the canon.

00:21:50
Speaker 8: But was that movie very good?

00:21:55
Speaker 1: Not really, right?

00:21:55
Speaker 4: I saw it in theaters and I haven’t seen it since. The book was a lot better.

00:21:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like the road didn’t have any lasting impact, right?

00:22:03
Speaker 8: That’s Vigo, is that right?

00:22:05
Speaker 5: Yeah.

00:22:05
Speaker 4: Vigo, yeah.

00:22:07
Speaker 1: This seven-letter word is a piece of gear that lets swimmers breathe air and an ATV accessory that allows vehicles to be semi-submersed without taking water to the engine. Is everybody ready? reveal your can-am answers of the week. Go ahead and reveal your answers. Seth and Dane and Yanni and Randall and Corey and Marge say snorkel.

00:22:32
Speaker 8: Can we make this one count?

00:22:33
Speaker 1: Without an answer.

00:22:35
Speaker 6: The correct answer is snorkel.

00:22:38
Speaker 1: You gotta be quick on that question of the week. That was our can-am question of the week.

00:22:42
Speaker 4: Can-am.

00:22:42
Speaker 1: Unstoppable. Alright, Phil, we’re halfway through today’s game. Give us a scoreboard update.

00:22:48
Speaker 4: You’re at halftime.

00:22:50
Speaker 11: We’ve got a wide spread here. Got Dane and Maggie with one point apiece. Corey’s got three. Randall has four. And we have three perfect games between Seth, Giannis, and Brody.

00:23:03
Speaker 4: Five points.

00:23:07
Speaker 1: Question six. The topic is fishing. This next great question is via Sam Taylor. This is America’s third longest river, which is named after a Canadian territory. This is America’s third longest river, which is named after a Canadian territory. Randall already has his answer. Now, Seth and Corey. Corey, do you have this one right?

00:23:37
Speaker 8: Man, let’s hope so.

00:23:38
Speaker 1: Seth, is this going to keep the perfect game going?

00:23:41
Speaker 7: I hope so.

00:23:44
Speaker 4: We’ll see.

00:23:45
Speaker 8: I hope not.

00:23:46
Speaker 1: We might have tripped up Brody with that snorkel question.

00:23:48
Speaker 3: I know.

00:23:49
Speaker 1: Now he’s back in it. Whiteboard is down. This is America’s third longest river, which is named after a Canadian territory. This is question six.

00:24:02
Speaker 8: I hate it when I’m in this position and I have to root against everybody.

00:24:08
Speaker 7: You don’t have to root against everybody.

00:24:09
Speaker 8: No, I’m compelled to root against… Not everybody.

00:24:14
Speaker 4: You’re fine.

00:24:15
Speaker 1: Randall still roots for me and Phil.

00:24:17
Speaker 8: Yeah.

00:24:20
Speaker 1: Yanni, do you have this one right?

00:24:22
Speaker 3: No, I do not have an answer yet.

00:24:24
Speaker 1: America’s third longest river, which is named after a Canadian territory.

00:24:31
Speaker 3: And America stands for the United States of America.

00:24:33
Speaker 4: That’s right.

00:24:33
Speaker 8: It’s a close read.

00:24:37
Speaker 2: I know the first two longest rivers.

00:24:39
Speaker 4: Okay.

00:24:40
Speaker 2: The third one, I don’t.

00:24:46
Speaker 1: Yanni, do you give up?

00:24:49
Speaker 3: No, I’m going to write something down if you force me.

00:24:50
Speaker 1: All right. Yeah, we’re going to force you and Dane. You, Dane, and Marge. We’re forcing you now.

00:24:54
Speaker 3: We have lots of time.

00:24:57
Speaker 1: If I start to force you now, though.

00:24:59
Speaker 8: We’ve got 27 minutes until Corey’s appointment.

00:25:03
Speaker 1: Meeting.

00:25:04
Speaker 8: I didn’t want to make it sound like a medical thing. Nothing’s wrong with you. I’ve got to talk about mules.

00:25:10
Speaker 1: I’m going to start calling all my meetings appointments. That’s good. America’s third longest river. Dane, Marge, are you ready? Go ahead and reveal your answers. Seth says Yukon. Dane, Mississippi. Yanni, Quebec. Randall, Yukon. Corey, Columbia. Marge, Ontario. Brody, Yukon. The correct answer is the Yukon River.

00:25:39
Speaker 3: I literally had Yukon.

00:25:40
Speaker 8: It’s a hell of.

00:25:42
Speaker 1: A vehicle, too. The Yukon River is just shy of 2,000 miles long, making it about 300 miles shorter than the Mississippi and 100 miles longer than the Rio Grande. It is home to the world’s longest salmon migration. The Yukon River Kings will spend three months traveling 30 miles a day into their spawning grounds every summer. Question seven, the topic is gear. This next great question is via AJ Coolish. This brand, which is known for its rugged drinkware, has a winged bear for its logo. This brand, which is known for its rugged drinkware, has a winged bear for its logo. Marge, you got this one right.

00:26:29
Speaker 2: I think so.

00:26:30
Speaker 1: Okay, Corey, you got this one right.

00:26:33
Speaker 8: God, I hope so.

00:26:33
Speaker 7: I think so.

00:26:35
Speaker 5: I’m wrong.

00:26:37
Speaker 1: Marge has her keychain with her today and it looks as though she killed a janitor before she came into the studio.

00:26:43
Speaker 7: Or a contractor.

00:26:46
Speaker 1: Tape measure on there. Five keys. Some keychains. A giant carabiner. A carabiner that could winch a vehicle out of a ditch.

00:26:57
Speaker 4: If it needed to.

00:26:59
Speaker 8: I’m getting into climbing, Spencer.

00:27:02
Speaker 1: This brand, which is known for its rugged drinkware, Has a winged bear for its logo. This is question seven. We have three perfect games that are currently in danger.

00:27:13
Speaker 3: Oh, no.

00:27:14
Speaker 11: Giannis lost his perfect game in the last question.

00:27:16
Speaker 8: Oh, bear.

00:27:17
Speaker 4: Between Seth and Brody now.

00:27:20
Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.

00:27:20
Speaker 1: I ran to that. Question one wrong.

00:27:22
Speaker 8: That’s right. Yeah, I remember. Sea trout. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

00:27:29
Speaker 1: This brand. which is known for its rugged drinkware.

00:27:33
Speaker 3: A winged bear for its logo.

00:27:35
Speaker 5: Okay.

00:27:35
Speaker 8: Randall, how many.

00:27:36
Speaker 7: Answers do you have?

00:27:37
Speaker 8: I don’t know a river named the Yukon River.

00:27:39
Speaker 5: Wrong. Oh, God.

00:27:40
Speaker 1: I wrote it down and erased it.

00:27:41
Speaker 6: It’s like it’s not Northwest.

00:27:42
Speaker 7: Brody, do you have your answer? I guess.

00:28:00
Speaker 1: Randall, do you have your answer?

00:28:01
Speaker 8: I suppose so.

00:28:03
Speaker 1: Go ahead and reveal your answers. Seth and Dane and Yanni and Randall and Corey and Marge and Brody say Stanley. They got it. That’s a 100 percenter. The correct answer is Stanley. Stanley was founded by William Stanley in 1913 when he patented the first all steel vacuum insulated bottle. Their Quencher tumbler has been one of the trendiest products of the 2020s, almost exclusively thanks to the mug’s popularity. Stanley went from making $ 73 million per year in 2019 to $ 750 million per year in 2023. A 10x increase. A bunch of 8th grade girls, I feel like.

00:28:41
Speaker 8: We gotta do that.

00:28:43
Speaker 1: We should come up with the next drinkware of 2027.

00:28:45
Speaker 7: Soccer mugs, too.

00:28:46
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:28:46
Speaker 5: Gosh.

00:28:56
Speaker 4: The old school Stanley Thermos is just the best thing ever.

00:29:00
Speaker 1: That thing needs to be with a 30-30 on a hunt.

00:29:03
Speaker 4: Yeah. The timber.

00:29:05
Speaker 1: Question eight. The topic is natural history. Unbury is a synonym for this six-letter word that’s defined as, quote, to dig up a dead body from the ground. Randall had his answer before I finished the question. Unbury is a synonym for this six-letter word that’s defined as to dig up a dead body from the ground.

00:29:29
Speaker 8: Yeah, this one’s right in my Q zone.

00:29:31
Speaker 4: Okay.

00:29:33
Speaker 3: That’s a writer right there.

00:29:34
Speaker 8: Kind of landed right in my sweet spot. 10x bullseye no no not the writing aspect of it.

00:29:40
Speaker 11: Oh the necrophilia yeah yeah i didn’t say anything.

00:29:43
Speaker 7: About philia.

00:29:47
Speaker 8: Grave robbing man oh sorry.

00:29:49
Speaker 1: Excuse me Unbury is a synonym for this six-letter word that’s defined as to dig up a dead body from the ground.

00:29:57
Speaker 5: Bill just went straight to assumptions.

00:30:02
Speaker 4: My haircut looks fine.

00:30:03
Speaker 1: The topic is natural history. Oh, right, right. Plays an important role in natural history.

00:30:11
Speaker 8: Yeah, Phil, I think one of the things that I appreciated most about your performance of Christmas Carol was the grave robbers. I forgot that that was part of the plot.

00:30:19
Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.

00:30:22
Speaker 1: Unburied.

00:30:22
Speaker 8: Victorian grave robbing is just great.

00:30:24
Speaker 1: It’s a synonym for this six-letter word that’s defined as to dig up a dead body from the ground. That’s why Randall is so haunted. It’s from all his grave digging, not the gun ownerships.

00:30:39
Speaker 8: No, it’s probably some strange combination of those and other unnamed hobbies.

00:30:43
Speaker 1: Because you’re not pure of heart. Unburied. Unbury is a synonym for this six-letter word that’s defined as to dig up a dead body from the ground. Randall, the only player with an answer.

00:30:55
Speaker 8: Unbury sounds like it could be a cool brand name, too.

00:30:59
Speaker 4: Or like a town name. Yeah.

00:31:01
Speaker 1: Oh, okay.

00:31:02
Speaker 8: Unbury, New Jersey.

00:31:03
Speaker 1: Unbury, Pennsylvania.

00:31:04
Speaker 8: Yeah. The Sheriff of Unbury.

00:31:09
Speaker 1: Yanni, is your answer right?

00:31:11
Speaker 3: I believe it is.

00:31:12
Speaker 4: Okay.

00:31:12
Speaker 1: Oh. Brody is your answer.

00:31:15
Speaker 6: It’s just sitting there and it’s not going to come.

00:31:18
Speaker 4: This is really going to shake things up.

00:31:20
Speaker 1: It will. And we are going to get a scoreboard update.

00:31:23
Speaker 3: I’m just going to change my spelling.

00:31:25
Speaker 8: Why?

00:31:25
Speaker 7: It doesn’t matter.

00:31:27
Speaker 2: I don’t know if this is a word.

00:31:29
Speaker 5: I just got a flash of Yanni’s board and I still can’t come up with it.

00:31:35
Speaker 3: Is everybody ready?

00:31:36
Speaker 1: We’re just talking synonyms. Go ahead and reveal your answers. Seth without an answer. Dane, resurrect. Yanni, exhume. Randall, exhume. Corey, remove.

00:31:50
Speaker 3: Marge, exhume.

00:31:51
Speaker 1: Brody without an answer. The correct answer is exhume. That is spelled E-X-H-U-M-E. Yanni threw a G in there.

00:32:01
Speaker 8: Do I get it?

00:32:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, Marge gets it right. Exuming helps scientists learn more about past life, including ancient diseases, diets, and lifestyles. Sometimes it’s done specifically to re-evaluate someone’s cause of death, like when Meriwether Lewis was exhumed in 1848 to determine if he died via suicide or murder. Phil, two questions left. Give us a scoreboard update.

00:32:29
Speaker 4: Seth was right.

00:32:29
Speaker 11: Really did shake things up here. Dane, two points. Maggie, three points. Corey, four points. And a four-way tie in first place between Seth, Giannis, Brody, and Randall. They all have seven points.

00:32:43
Speaker 8: Coming back from the dead.

00:32:45
Speaker 1: We have been in an overtime drought.

00:32:47
Speaker 8: Resurrected. Your body was exhumed. Exhumed my chances of victory today.

00:32:52
Speaker 1: Question nine. The topic is public lands. Crowds gather at Indiana Dunes National Park to watch the sunset behind this city’s skyline that lies 35 miles to the west. Randall had his answer before I finished the question. Brody now joins him. Yanni now joins him. Crowds gather at Indiana Dunes National Park to watch the sunset behind this city’s skyline that lies 35 miles to the west. Corey, do you have this one right?

00:33:28
Speaker 3: Probably not.

00:33:29
Speaker 1: Seth, do you have this one right?

00:33:31
Speaker 4: I just threw down a city that I know is there.

00:33:33
Speaker 3: I grew up not far from here, and I didn’t know that this was a thing.

00:33:37
Speaker 1: And we will have a picture after this.

00:33:39
Speaker 8: Specifically, do you know that that city is 35 miles to the west?

00:33:43
Speaker 3: Nope.

00:33:45
Speaker 1: We will look at a photo of this afterwards. This is question nine. Seth needs to get this right to keep pace with Brody, Randall.

00:33:53
Speaker 4: And Johnny. Actually, I don’t even know where Indiana Dunes National Park is.

00:33:56
Speaker 1: Okay. You know that the city’s there.

00:34:01
Speaker 3: I was going off of Indiana. All right.

00:34:03
Speaker 7: Same.

00:34:04
Speaker 1: Is everybody ready?

00:34:05
Speaker 3: Hold on.

00:34:08
Speaker 1: Dane making a quick change. Crowds gather at Indiana Dunes National Park. Yeah.

00:34:16
Speaker 3: But you threw me off, and then… You threw me.

00:34:21
Speaker 4: Off.

00:34:24
Speaker 8: Twisted tail we’re weaving here.

00:34:26
Speaker 5: Hopefully I threw you in the right direction because that’s what I have now.

00:34:29
Speaker 3: Perfect.

00:34:30
Speaker 1: Go ahead and reveal your answers. Seth and Dane say Indianapolis. Yanni and Randall say Chicago. Corey, Indianapolis. Marge without an answer. Brody, Chicago. The correct answer is Chicago. Indiana Dunes National Park is located just east of Gary, and on a clear day, you can see Chicago skyscrapers from across Lake Michigan. The best time to visit for the iconic sunset is between mid-May and late July when the sun drops directly behind the city. Indiana Dunes became a national lakeshore in 1966, then was redesignated as a national park in 2019. And there is a photo of a sunset behind Chicago if you’re standing at the Indiana Dunes.

00:35:19
Speaker 8: The old windy city. The city with big shoulders. There’s like one.

00:35:24
Speaker 11: Day a year.

00:35:26
Speaker 3: The second city.

00:35:28
Speaker 1: What do you got, Dave?

00:35:29
Speaker 2: There’s one day a year, I believe, in New York where the sun perfectly sets down. I don’t know what road it is, but it’s like.

00:35:37
Speaker 1: Yeah, Neil deGrasse Tyson has taken credit for finding that and making it a thing. And now people will go and watch that every year when it happens. I don’t remember what it’s called, like the New York City Equinox or whatever. Here’s a correct answer review so far. One was spotted sea trout. Two, Russia. Three, gutless.

00:35:55
Speaker 4: Four, New Jersey.

00:35:57
Speaker 1: Five, Cormac McCarthy. Six, Yukon River. Seven, Stanley. Eight, Exum. Nine, Chicago. Phil, scoreboard update.

00:36:08
Speaker 11: Steph tripped up, but he’s still in the running with seven points. However, Giannis, Brody, and Randall are now tied up in first with eight.

00:36:15
Speaker 1: Question 10. The topic is conservation.

00:36:18
Speaker 7: No!

00:36:19
Speaker 4: Damn it.

00:36:20
Speaker 1: A UK plant conservation group started this three-word movement in 2019 as a way to temporarily support pollinators and reduce water usage in your backyards. This is the final question and the room looks stumped. A UK conservation group started this three word movement in 2019 as a way to temporarily support pollinators and reduce water usage in your backyard. So your answer is that three word movement. Still seven blank whiteboards.

00:37:05
Speaker 7: Not getting any hints. Seth.

00:37:07
Speaker 8: Does it build back better?

00:37:08
Speaker 1: In second place.

00:37:10
Speaker 8: Shoe shovel shut up.

00:37:11
Speaker 4: Clean drain dry.

00:37:12
Speaker 1: Do you have this one right, Seth?

00:37:15
Speaker 4: I have no clue. First thing that popped in my head that kind of made sense.

00:37:19
Speaker 1: A UK plant conservation group started this three-word movement in 2019 as a way to temporarily support pollinators and reduce water usage in your backyard. If Seth can get this right… Yanni, Randall, and Brody can get this one wrong. We will have a four-way tiebreaker, but Yanni just confidently put down his whiteboard. Yanni, do you have this one right?

00:37:44
Speaker 10: I have very educated guess.

00:37:48
Speaker 1: Okay. Now Randall’s body language has changed.

00:37:52
Speaker 4: Yeah.

00:37:52
Speaker 1: He’s shaking.

00:37:53
Speaker 5: He’ll turn red here any moment.

00:37:57
Speaker 8: Yeah, I can feel it now.

00:37:58
Speaker 1: Brody, do you have this one right?

00:38:00
Speaker 7: I don’t think so.

00:38:01
Speaker 2: Okay.

00:38:01
Speaker 7: I know… I know the area I.

00:38:04
Speaker 3: Need to be in. I think I have two out of the three words.

00:38:08
Speaker 1: A UK plant conservation group started this three-word movement in 2019 as a way to temporarily support pollinators and reduce water usage in your backyard. Cory, you have this one right.

00:38:20
Speaker 8: Man, I got a really good guess.

00:38:21
Speaker 1: Cory seems the most confident.

00:38:24
Speaker 3: I have no.

00:38:25
Speaker 8: I need this one. I have not the foggiest idea.

00:38:28
Speaker 3: You know.

00:38:30
Speaker 4: You don’t need anything.

00:38:31
Speaker 1: Randall needs to hope that Yanni.

00:38:34
Speaker 8: I hope everybody gets it wrong.

00:38:39
Speaker 3: Oh, Randall. Let’s go out and get a hot dog after this.

00:38:42
Speaker 8: Let’s do it. I had two yesterday.

00:38:45
Speaker 3: I gotta hear about Austria.

00:38:47
Speaker 8: Osterreich?

00:38:49
Speaker 1: Randall is now doing some writing.

00:38:52
Speaker 3: Are you ready, Randall?

00:38:52
Speaker 4: Yes.

00:38:53
Speaker 1: Go ahead and reveal your answers. Seth says water at night. Dane without an answer. Yanni, no, may, mo.

00:39:02
Speaker 3: Randall. No!

00:39:04
Speaker 10: Oh!

00:39:05
Speaker 1: Yanni says no, may, mo.

00:39:07
Speaker 3: You know what I meant.

00:39:08
Speaker 1: Randall says on to overtime.

00:39:10
Speaker 8: With a question mark.

00:39:11
Speaker 1: Corey, no, mo, may. Marge, no, mo, slow, grow. Brody, slow the mo. The correct answer is no, Mo May. Now, what do we do with yannis it’d be more fun.

00:39:26
Speaker 7: If we didn’t give it to him like.

00:39:28
Speaker 6: Give yannis the win.

00:39:30
Speaker 1: I don’t know how that happened again the answer is no mo may yanni has no may mo.

00:39:35
Speaker 8: This would be a really liberal application of our spelling doesn’t count policy.

00:39:41
Speaker 10: Yeah i think we should uh do whatever randall says Because he takes his game so seriously.

00:39:50
Speaker 1: Brody did give.

00:39:50
Speaker 3: Him the point.

00:39:51
Speaker 8: Don’t put that on me.

00:39:52
Speaker 1: What do you think of that, Randall?

00:39:55
Speaker 8: I think it’s funny that he got the words backwards.

00:39:58
Speaker 3: It is weird. It’s very weird.

00:40:00
Speaker 4: It’s not the name of the movement.

00:40:02
Speaker 3: It’s not. Bill against me.

00:40:05
Speaker 1: We haven’t been to overtime in so long.

00:40:08
Speaker 3: Don’t give it to me.

00:40:10
Speaker 1: Corey’s the only one who got it right. Corey, what do you think?

00:40:12
Speaker 4: Let’s go to overtime.

00:40:13
Speaker 7: Okay, we’re going to overtime.

00:40:16
Speaker 1: It is no mow-may. The no mow-may movement quickly spread to North America with some iterations being slow mow summer or low mow spring. More than 30 U.S. cities have adopted a version of the program encouraging homeowners to let their grass grow. No mow-may provides more food and habitat for pollinators. creates stronger root systems, reduces water usage, and cuts down on air and noise pollution. Plus, it means less chores.

00:40:44
Speaker 7: Plus, it makes your HOA really mad.

00:40:46
Speaker 1: There you go. All right, we’re headed to overtime. Play the drop, Phil.

00:40:51
Speaker 8: I hope you win in overtime.

00:40:53
Speaker 4: Thank you, Randall.

00:40:56
Speaker 1: In overtime, we have a numerical question. Whoever is closest between Randall, Yanni, and Brody wins. will be declared today’s winner. But the rest of the room is going to play along as well because if somebody gets it right on the nose, Meteor will add an extra $ 100 to today’s donation.

00:41:11
Speaker 7: Anyone mark up this newly stained table today?

00:41:14
Speaker 1: It hasn’t happened yet. All right, the overtime topic is fishing. How many pages is the average state’s fishing regulations handbook? I got this number by checking 10 different states. And if they had the regulations broken up by freshwater and saltwater, I did not use them. How many pages is the average state’s fishing regulations handbook?

00:41:44
Speaker 5: So you went off of states that mostly don’t have an ocean?

00:41:49
Speaker 1: There are some states that have their regulations in one if they have a saltwater fishery, but if they split them up into two, I did not include them for the purpose of this.

00:42:00
Speaker 3: Numbers, not my strong suit.

00:42:02
Speaker 1: How many pages is average state’s fishing regulations handbook.

00:42:08
Speaker 8: Randomly guessing the numbers of handbooks I haven’t seen is not my strong suit, so we’re on even territory here.

00:42:14
Speaker 1: Corey, I was confident you would get that last one because you do no mow May. I do no mow July, no mow August.

00:42:20
Speaker 8: No mow September.

00:42:21
Speaker 1: I think I only mow in June, honestly. Corey is lots of mowing June.

00:42:27
Speaker 8: Big pollinator guy.

00:42:29
Speaker 1: No, we just don’t have water.

00:42:33
Speaker 8: Make our grass grow.

00:42:34
Speaker 1: Is everybody ready?

00:42:35
Speaker 8: We don’t have soil.

00:42:37
Speaker 1: Go ahead and reveal your answers. Seth says 65. Dane, 67.

00:42:41
Speaker 8: Yanni, 55.

00:42:42
Speaker 3: Randall, 58.

00:42:43
Speaker 1: We’re so close.

00:42:44
Speaker 8: Corey, 98.

00:42:45
Speaker 4: Marge, 47.

00:42:45
Speaker 8: Brody, 39.

00:42:46
Speaker 1: Our players left Brody, Randall, Yanni.

00:42:48
Speaker 3: The correct answer.

00:43:00
Speaker 1: Is 72 making Randall the winner. He was 14 pages off, but I think Dane is the closest in the room. He was five pages off. Yeah. 72 pages of the States. I checked Arkansas had the biggest handbook at 96 pages and Kentucky had the smallest handbook at 40 pages. Utah was dead nuts on the average at 72 pages. Randall today’s being a winner. What are you going to do with that? $ 500 donation?

00:43:28
Speaker 8: Uh, Let’s send that to the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership. There’s obviously a lot in the headlines of late regarding federal public land policy decisions that sportsmen and women need a voice in D.C. who are sticking up for wild places and wild animals, so. Send it TRCP’s way.

00:43:53
Speaker 1: And do you feel good about this victory after no… No, I don’t.

00:43:56
Speaker 8: It’s actually a cheapened… Well, no, I think I’ll take it.

00:43:59
Speaker 1: You’ll take it.

00:44:00
Speaker 8: Yeah, I’ll take it.

00:44:02
Speaker 1: Join us next week for more Meat Eater Trivia, the only game show where conservation always wins.

00:44:07
Speaker 4: Thanks, Spencer.

00:44:09
Speaker 9: Yeah, Spencer from South Dakota, he’s the host. Using those smooth, mellow tones, he lays them questions down. And he likes taking those two and three year old bucks. And he’s an avid amateur.

00:44:28
Speaker 8: Rock hound.
