Tax Stamp Holidays On Suppressors

Tax Stamp Holidays On Suppressors

Suppressor manufacturers are looking to jump the gun by offering rebates now.

On July 4 President Donald Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act into law. It included, as summarized by the NRA-ILA, “… a provision that eliminates the burdensome $200 excise tax imposed by the NFA.”

It’s a tidy, hearing-healthy savings that does not begin until the stroke of midnight on Dec. 31, 2025. There are no doubt thousands of gun owners who are waiting for the budget-friendly reduction before they buy, but the sudden increase in demand on Jan. 1—along with four months of inflation—could minimize savings. Odds are also good supply for that special can they’ve been eyeing will dwindle fast, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives will be flooded with applications.

Several major manufacturers, however, are passing the money savings forward to enthusiasts who purchase before the year ends. Here are a few of the deals we found.

Dead Air Silencers

Dead Air Silencers has a tongue-in-cheek name for its promotion—Hush Money. The company is offering consumers a way to offset the still-in-effect NFA tax with a $300 promotional code. It effectively cancels out the NFA tax and adds an additional $100 spending credit for qualified Dead Air Silencer suppressor purchasers.

Any legal U.S. resident over the age of 21 who buys a qualifying suppressor between Sept. 1, 2025, and Oct. 31, 2025, from an authorized Dead Air Silencers dealer, can receive a $300 promo code redeemable at DeadAirSilencers.com. The credit can be used to acquire needed adapters or mounts to use the suppressor across multiple firearm platforms, buy supporting hardware and accessories, range gear or apparel.

This offer is available only for qualified suppressor purchases. Dead Air MASK and RXD22Ti suppressor purchases are not eligible for the Hush Money promotional code.

Qualifying suppressor purchases must include the purchase receipt and Form 4 listing the suppressor serial number. The Form 4 is part of the submitted proof of purchase. For complete details, terms, and conditions, visit DeadAirSilencers.com.

Kovix

Kovix, a manufacturer specializing in titanium suppressors, recently announced its tax-stamp rebate program in the form of a Kovix Gift Card. With the $200 tax stamp reducing to $0 on Jan. 1, consumers are considering whether they should wait until the new year to make a purchase. Kovix’s solution is simple: “We’ve got that covered.”

“Everybody wanted to see suppressors removed from the NFA as the bill was originally written,” said Kovix Chief Marketing Officer Rex Ribelin. “So rather than a total victory, we see the amended Bill as a good place to start for future reform. In the meantime, we know that spending $200 on a tax stamp is easier when it’s somebody else’s money. Customers are getting that $200 back, on us, in the form of a gift card for their next Kovix purchase.

Ribelin added another consideration for those who think it best to wait until 2026. “While current tax-stamp approval lead times for individual and trust applications are relatively short, they are sure to dramatically increase after January 1st,” he said. “Why not move forward with a partner who has that $200 covered for you?”

Kovix’s $200 rebate program runs through the end of 2025 when the amended Bill takes effect. Full details are found on the company website.

Silencer Shop

Silencer Shop is offering $200 rebates on some of its most popular suppressors. The list includes select models from B&T, HuxWrx, CGS, SIG Sauer and more.

Models included in the promotion are found here wearing a “Free $200 Tax Stamp” label. Full details on the promotion, which runs until Dec. 31 are made available online as well.

SilencerCo

Purchase a qualifying SilencerCo model by Oct. 31 and you can qualify for a $200 credit on SilencerCo.com. Purchases of the company’s suppressors online or at a retail store qualify.

Rimfire, centerfire and shotgun models are included. Visit this webpage for full details or to review FAQs.
