POF-USA Awarded Contract for Next-Generation Rifle System in Asia

Patriot Ordnance Factory Inc. (POF-USA), provider and manufacturer of AR-style rifles, announced this month that it, in partnership with SERT-USA, has been awarded a contract to supply the Next Generation Rifle System to an undisclosed end user in Asia.

The contract calls for delivery of POF-USA’s .300 Blackout 8-inch Renegade platform, which was selected for its compact design, reliability and performance in modern operational environments. The system was chosen for effectiveness in suppressed applications and ability to operate reliably with both subsonic and supersonic ammunition.

“We are proud to partner with SERT on this significant contract,” said Cody DeSomma, vice president of POF-USA. “The Renegade platform represents the pinnacle of our direct-impingement technology, incorporating patented innovations developed specifically to meet real-world operational requirements. This award reinforces our commitment to delivering American-made firearms that meet the demands of professional end users worldwide.”

By selecting the POF-USA Renegade, the Next Generation Rifle System features a highly configurable rifle platform designed to support a range of mission requirements. It is compatible with an assortment of optics, laser-aiming devices and suppressors, and includes fully ambidextrous controls to support close-quarters operations and specialized applications.

Key patented technologies integrated into the Renegade platform include POF-USA’s E² dual-extraction chamber, roller cam pin, and heat-sink barrel nut, all engineered to enhance reliability, durability and sustained performance.

POF-USA is a leading provider and manufacturer of firearms. For more than 20-years the firm has been driven by ingenuity, passion, quality and a resilient American spirit that refuses to settle for good-enough. Today, POF-USA continues to be a market leader delivering a portfolio of regulated short-stroke gas piston operating rifles, as well as the newer introductions of direct impingement systems.

POF-USA designs and makes firearms for military, law enforcement and commercial markets. Its products are manufactured in its Phoenix, AZ, facility.
