First Look: Volquartsen Firearms Mini Mamba TF-22

Volquartsen Firearms and Davidson’s have teamed up to launch a special edition version of the new Voltquartsen Mini Mamba TF-22 rimfire semi-automatic pistol with an FDE finish and complimentary FDE grips.

The Volquartsen Mini Mamba TF-22 .22 LR is a compact pistol with a shorter, threaded barrel ready to accept any suitable rimfire suppressor without becoming overly cumbersome. Like the rest of Volquartsen’s rimfire pistols, the new Mini Mini Mamba TF-22 is based on Bill Ruger’s original semi-automatic Ruger Standard design dating back to 1949. This design is one of the most successful rimfire pistol designs of all times, and companies like Volquartsen improve on the design for further accuracy and performance.

Besides being suppressor ready, the Mini Mamba TF-22 is built with a Voltquartsen 3-inch LLV-4 Competition Upper. With its built-in Picatinny base, it’s not only optics-ready out of the box, but it’s also built with a stainless steel match barrel whose breech is laser hardened. This allows the LLV-4 to resist high volumes of rimfire rounds over extended periods of time. The flat dark earth cerakote livery and matching G10 “slash and burn” grips are exclusive to this unique Davidson’s special edition model.

“Our relationship with Davidson’s goes back nearly three decades, so it’s always gratifying to be able to collaborate with them on an exclusive addition to their product line up,” commented Volquartsen President, Scott Volquartsen.

FDE Mini Mamba-TF features

  • ½x28 tpi threaded, stainless steel, 3-inch barrel with stainless steel laser-hardened breech within a type III hard anodized aluminum shroud
  • Volquartsen accurizing kit for a 2.25-pound trigger pull
  • DLC-coated Volquartsen competition bolt
  • Volquartsen thread protector
  • Utilizes the Volquartsen Mamba LLV 3-inch upper
  • Utilizes a Ruger MK IV standard aluminum frame for push-button takedown capability
  • The FDE Mini Mamba-TF is available exclusively through Davidson’s Gallery of Guns.
