First Look: Tisas PX-9 2.0 Duty Comp

SDS Arms has just launched the new Tisas PX-9 2.0 Comp 9mm pistol. Originally known as the Zigana and now on its third generation, the PX-9 series is Tisas’ 9mm workhorse. Current models are built around polymer frames, and in the case of the latest PX-9 2.0 Duty Comp model, include an integrated ported and compensated barrel. Like all other PX-9 variants the new PX-9 Duty 2.0 Comp feeds from SIG Sauer P226-pattern double-stack 9mm magazines.

The new Tisas PX-9 Duty 2.0 Comp is a performance-oriented handgun. Besides its factory-default, ported, match-grade barrel, this pistol also includes an optics-ready slide that’s milled to accept any optic that uses the popular Trijicon RMR optics mounting footprint. The factory RMR cut is set up to co-witness with the PX-9 Duty 2.0 Comp’s default iron sight set.

“The PX-9 has been such a success for Tisas, that we wanted to take it to another level with the 2.0 Duty Comp version,” said Chris DiCenso, CEO of SDS Arms. “From shooting it on the competition line, or carrying it when on duty, this firearm is remarkable.”

Tisas PX-9 2.0 Duty Comp Features

  • Aggressive machined slide cuts for weight reduction and grip
  • Match-grade barrel with integrated compensator port
  • Aluminum flat-faced trigger with tactile reset
  • Aluminum extended magazine well, takedown lever and magazine catch
  • Ambidextrous slide stop and optional thumb safety
  • Glock pattern co-witness sight height
  • RMR optic cut with cover plate installed
  • SIG P226-pattern magazines (includes 18- and 20-round magazines)
  • Tenifer QPQ finish for corrosion and wear resistance

The new Tisas PX-9 Duty 2.0 Comp pistol has an MSRP of $522.99. To learn more about Tisas firearms including the new Tisas PX-9 Duty 2.0 Comp performance model, visit tisasusa.com.
