First Look: Taurus Reintroduces The Raging Judge

Taurus is reintroducing one of its most powerful and versatile revolvers, the Raging Judge 513. This limited production model marks the bold return of a platform known for its formidable capabilities and unique multi-caliber design.

Chambered in .45 Colt, 3-inch .410-bore and .454 Casull, the Raging Judge is purpose-built for those who demand flexibility and stopping power in a durable, heavy-duty revolver. Its matte stainless-steel finish, paired with a rubber grip featuring a distinctive red cushioned insert, ensures both strength and handling comfort— ideal for backwoods protection or serious range time. The Raging Judge combines power, versatility, and a proven design trusted by outdoors enthusiasts and shooters alike.

The original Taurus Judge was introduced in 2006 as a versatile, five-shot revolver that is designed to chamber both .410-bore shotgun shells and .45 Colt cartridges, making it a unique hybrid firearm suited for both self-defense and close-range hunting. It gained popularity for its ability to deliver powerful, multi-projectile payloads or traditional handgun rounds, offering flexibility in various scenarios. With a compact frame, typically featuring a 3-inch or 6.5-inch barrel, the Judge balances portability with stopping power, though its recoil can be substantial when firing .410 shells. Its distinctive design and dual-ammunition capability have made it a favorite among enthusiasts seeking a reliable, multi-purpose firearm. By using the powerful .454 Casull round, the Raging Judge takes the Judge lineup to new heights of firepower.
