First Look: Streamlight Rechargeable Sledge Headlamp

Streamlight just introduced a rechargeable and rugged multi-fuel headlamp meant for working professions, the new Streamlight Sledge. This ruggedized headlamp from Streamlight has two LED lamps and can throw a total of up to 1,000 lumens for a short amount of time. It also operates at different levels of lumen intensity depending on the task at hand. The two LED emitters offer a 600-lumen working output with a charge that lasts approximately 4.25 hours. At 300 lumens (medium), the Streamlight Sledge has a run time of 9.25 hours. At 100 lumens, the battery will last 13 hours. Its flood beam ensures broad, consistent light for task-oriented work, while a dedicated THRO (Temporarily Heightened Regulated Output) mode delivers a momentary 1,000-lumen output for on-demand, high-intensity visibility in critical moments.

“We designed the Sledge to meet the demands of hard-working professionals such as utility workers, contractors and work crews, as well as outdoor users like hikers and campers,” said Michael F. Dineen, Streamlight President. “This headlamp is engineered to power long work shifts and deliver dependable performance, even in harsh environments.”
