First Look: Springfield Armory Saint Victor 8.5” 9mm Pistol

Springfield Armory is releasing the new Saint Victor 8.5” 9mm Pistol, the latest addition to the Victor line of AR-pattern firearms. The Saint Victor 8.5” 9mm Pistol features a forged 7075 T6-aluminum dedicated 9mm upper and lower receivers and uses a direct-blowback system for enhanced reliability. The SAINT Victor 8.5” 9mm Pistol features a Melonite-treated 8.5-inch barrel for better performance from the 9mm round.

At the muzzle there is the SA Muzzle Drum that is recessed under the pistol’s freefloat handguard. The handguard features M-Lok slots for adding accessories and an M-Lok handstop is included on the lower section of the handguard. A QD mount is located on the receiver end plate for sling use. The pistol feeds from Colt-pattern, 32-round magazines, and it has an adjustable SB Tactical SBA3 pistol brace on the receiver extension.  There is also a B5 Systems polymer trigger guard, B5 Systems Type 23 P-Grip and a 45-degree, short-throw ambidextrous safety.

“The Saint Victor 8.5” 9mm Pistol is an appealing new addition to the Saint Victor family,” said Steve Kramer, Vice President of Marketing for Springfield Armory. “Combining compact dimensions with full-throated 9mm ballistic performance, this new 9mm pistol stands ready for self-defense or a great time on the range.”
