First Look: Rossi R95 Triple Black Pistol

Rossi USA recently added to the lever-action Rossi R95 Triple Black family with the launch of four new large-format, lever-action Triple Black pistols.

The new Rossi R95 Triple Black pistol keeps the same features that Rossi R95 Triple Black lever-action rifles and carbines have but brings them over to a slightly more compact and more maneuverable form factor. Rossi R95 Triple Black pistols include several standard and useful features like 13.25-inch threaded barrels, sling mounting points and a mid-size, paracord-wrapped lever loop. The included pistol grip has the common birdshead profile that flares out towards the rear in order to provide plenty of surface area to provide a better grip for the shooter’s hand.

Rossi R95 Triple Black pistols are available in four different centerfire calibers including .454 Casull, .357 Mag, .44 Mag. and .45-70 Gov’t. True to their name, all four Rossi R95 Triple Black lever action pistols include a combination of all-black Cerakote finishes on their barrels and receivers in addition to black polymer furniture. Thanks to the Rossi R95 lever-action receiver, which features a right-hand, side-ejection port and a closed top, all Rossi R95 Triple Black lever action pistols also include a section of Picatinny rail that serves as an optics mounting base, allowing end-users to easily install nearly any type of optic.

“Shooters have been asking for a compact, powerful version of the R95, and we listened,” said Nicholas Chan, a manager at Rossi USA. “The R95 TBP combines the rugged features of the Triple Black with the portability of a pistol-format lever action. It’s compact, capable, and ready for anything.”
