First Look: Nextorch TA70 Flashlight

First Look: Nextorch TA70 Flashlight

Nextorch North America is introducing the TA70 Ultra-Slim Tactical Flashlight, a compact, everyday-carry light that combines 3,500 lumens of power with an ultra-thin profile and proven reliability in a slim, easy-to-carry design.

The TA70 is .75-inch thick and weighs 4.3 ounces with the battery. At the back of the TA70 there is Nextorch’s signature dual-stage tail switch and one-step strobe for rapid response. A half-press gives you momentary light and a full press activates the disorienting strobe function. You can easily switch between tactical, duty, and lock modes with one hand by rotating the switch. On Duty mode, you can switch between low, medium and high to adapt to the light usage requirements of different scenarios. On Lock mode, you can carry the TA70 without worrying about accidental activation of the light.

The TA70 is also equipped with Ultra Thermal Buffer (U.T.B.) technology. This system manages heat build-up during high-output use, so you can run the light longer without worrying about overheating. Most high-output flashlights suffer from heat buildup, leading to throttling (reduced brightness), discomfort or even the risk of burning your skin. Nextorch’s patented U.T.B. system changes that dynamic. It delays or prevents thermal throttling while maintaining full performance, not just short bursts. This third-generation temperature control system uses phase-change materials plus an intelligent chip to maintain peak brightness while keeping the grip under 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

The TA70 features a built-in 1,400 mAh lithium-ion battery and a waterproof USB-C port for direct charging. Its one-piece aluminum alloy casing is drop-resistant to 6.5 feet, and it has an IP67 waterproof rating for added protection. With the Nano-Ceramic Strike Bezel, it can break glass efficiently for rescue or self-defense. The TA70 also comes standard with a tactical ring, which is suitable for use for many self-defense and environmental situations.

Nextorch TA70 Features:

  • 3,500 lumens maximum output/220-meter beam distance
  • U.T.B. thermal management system
  • IP67 waterproof/6.5-foot impact resistance
  • Built-in USB-C rechargeable battery
  • Dimensions: 4.7×1.3x.75 inches
  • Weight: 4.3 ounces (including battery)

MSRP for the Nextorch TA70 is $119.99, and more information on this flashlight and other products from Nextorch is available at nextorch.com.
