First Look: Mission First Tactical 308 Win. Translucent EXD Magazines

Mission First Tactical is unveiling a new translucent EXD magazine for the increasingly popular, larger framed AR-10/AR-308/SR-25-pattern semi-automatic rifles and carbines.  These new rifle magazines are available to customers with either an opaque clear or smoke tint and a matte surface that reduces glare and shine.

Mission First Tactical’s EXD magazines are manufactured from a military-grade proprietary co-polymer material which differs from the traditional translucent or transparent polycarbonate material detachable magazine. This material is designed to withstand a wide range of temperatures and harsh environmental conditions, including UV rays, known to break down polymer materials over time. In addition to environmental factors, this material can last in the face of strong damaging chemical agents. In addition to this, the material can resist abrupt impacts, such as being dropped over hard surfaces. The material is also strong enough to directly influence the magazine’s design. Because of this material, Mission First Tactical EXD magazines does not need steel-reinforced feed lips, nor will they bend, crack or turn brittle over time. Their translucent nature allows end-users to quickly and visually check the magazine’s current ammunition status.

The new 20 round Translucent EXD magazines are designed for use with SAAMI-spec 7.62 NATO or .308 Win. rifle cartridges. Mission First Tactical also included a dot-matrix area for paint pens at the bottom of either side. This surface makes it easier to individually and uniquely mark each magazine. These .308 Win. magazines have a standard retail price of $24.99. Visit Mission First Tactical’s website at missionfirsttactical.com to learn more about these magazines or other products from Mission First Tactical.
