Modular Driven Technologies, better known as MDT, has just unveiled the ACC Premier GEN2 rifle chassis designed to fit rimfire Ruger 10/22 pattern rifles, including those made by Volqsuartsen. As the second-generation version of MDT’s award-winning Premier rifle chassis, this ACC Premier GEN2 is a major refresh of one of Modular Driven Technologies’ winningest competition precision shooting rifle chassis.
MDT ACC Premier GEN2 Upgrades:
- A taller integrated barricade stop
- A thicker and more rigid fore-end
- Drilled holes along the top of the fore-end to take advantage of MDT’s night vision and Control Bridge system.
- Because high level rimfire precision competition shooting is on the rise, MDT designed the ACC Premier GEN2 fore-end at a compact 15-inch length to better accommodate a wider variety of barrel sizes.
In addition to this, the MDT ACC Premier GEN2 rifle chassis includes other features such as the ability to add interior weights underneath the fore-end to tune rifle balance and MDT’s SRS X-Lite adjustable precision buttstock is included by default. The chassis also has an adjustable cheek riser, adjustable length-of-pull with the use of spacers and an ambidextrous magazine latch. There is also a slot underneath the trigger guard which allows shooters to adjust trigger-pull weight without having to remove the action from the chassis.
The development of the MDT ACC Premier GEN2 chassis was inspired by MDT’s own ACC Elite chassis. Premier GEN2 chassis are available for a wide variety of popular centerfire and rimfire rifle footprints including bolt-action Remington 700 short-action, Tikka T3X and T1X actions, Ruger American, CZ 457, Howa 1500, et cetera.
