First Look: Kinetic Development Group MREX15 Rail for the FN SCAR 15P

Kinetic Development Group has just unveiled its new M-Lok based accessory rail for the FN SCAR 15P large format pistol, the new MREX 15 rail. The new MREX 15 is a shorter and more compact version of Kinetic Development Group’s standard MREX Mk II rail meant for full-size FN SCAR rifles. On the SCAR 15P, the MREX 15 provides additional surface area and extra M-Lok slots without making the pistol needlessly bulky.

Kinetic Development Group MREX15 Rail Features:

  • Optimized Ergonomics: Despite its reduced length, the rail retains crucial M-Lok mounting points, enabling users to attach tactical accessories while maintaining comfortable hand placement.
  • Robust Construction: Machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with Type III hard-coat anodizing
  • Available in black or FDE (Flat Dark Earth)
  • Featherweight Design: At just 2.6 ounces, the MREX15 offers strength without adding unnecessary weight.
  • Tailored Integration: The rail is compatible exclusively with the FN SCAR 15P and is 100 percent manufactured in the USA.
  • Comprehensive Kit: Each Kinetic Development Group MREX 15 unit includes the MREX15, M5-0.8×12mm, 10mm and 6mm fasteners, a mounting bridge, a T25 Torx wrench and thread-locking compound.
  • Priced at $249.99 retail

The FN SCAR 15P large format pistol is a pistol-version of the original FN SCAR. The firearm is chambered for either 5.56 NATO or .300 BLK and has a 7.5-inch barrel. All FN SCAR 15Ps are built with the newer FN SCAR non- reciprocating charging handle system and include the FN SCAR pattern short stroke gas piston action.

Kinetic Development Group offers additional FN SCAR specific and specialty accessories including different mounts, rails, stocks and braces. To learn more about Kinetic Development Group’s products including the new MREX 15 for the FN SCAR 15P, visit kineticdg.com.
