By isolating the suppressor from the moving barrel, the JK HUB Piston Mount (often referred to as a “booster” or a “Nielsen Device”) maintains reliable operation of nearly every kind of short-recoil-operated, semi-automatic pistol.
The JK HUB Piston Mount installs in place of the JK 155 suppressor taper mount or other mount accessory, threading directly into the base of the serialized suppressor tube with its HUB-standard 13⁄8×24 (1.375×24) tpi. This also makes the JK HUB Piston Mount compatible with any other suppressor on the market with HUB threads and enough internal length to accommodate the booster housing (approximately 1.8 inches).
