First Look: Headrest Safe Company Compact Safe

The Headrest Safe Company, LLC is coming out with the new Compact Headrest Safe, designed for customers who are looking for a smaller profile than the current Vulcan or Slide models. The symmetrical profile of the new Compact model means it works great in sedans and luxury vehicles. The Compact comes with a new “hotel style” lock, which is a simple keypad entry to open and close the safe door, just like those used in hotels. Even with the smaller profile, the Compact still accommodates a full-size pistol, keeping your valuables safe while you are not in your vehicle.

“When it comes to carrying your valuables or firearms in your vehicle, most people think they have to choose between safety and convenience,” said Louis Tuck, COO/CFO, The Headrest Safe Company LLC. “With The Headrest Safe products, you can have the best of both worlds: peace of mind that it’s secure plus easy access.”

Once installed, The Compact Headrest Safe locks in place so only you can remove it. The fabric coverings that are used look and feel like real leather. The universal design of the Compact Headrest Safe will fit in virtually all vehicles with a two-prong-post headrest pattern and can easily be installed by end users. With the quick access biometric lock reader and keypad, you will have rapid access to whatever you choose to have securely stored away.

The Compact Headrest Safe was designed to be on the passenger side, so the driver has direct access to the safe from the driver’s seat. The Compact Headrest Safe bundle offers a matching driver side companion headrest to match identically to The Compact Headrest Safe.

The Compact Headrest Safe Features:

  • Quick and easy installation
  • Universal fit to most two-post headrest systems
  • Steel hotel safe style lock
  • Locks into seat to prevent theft
  • Heavy duty 20-gauge steel safe
  • 16-gauge steel safe door
  • All automotive-grade components
  • Safety tested to FMVSS 202a standards
  • Available in black leatherette (other options coming soon)
  • Installs on the passenger seat for easy access by the driver
  • Exterior dimensions 8 inches high x 5.5 inches wide x 10.75 long
  • Interior dimensions 5.5 inches high x 3.5 inches wide x 7.5 inches long
  • Can hold a full-size pistol

MSRP for the Compact Headrest Safe is $299, and more information is on this product as well as other storage solutions from The Headrest Safe Company is available at theheadrestsafe.com.
