The .22 caliber Huxwrx Flow 22 Ti is the lightest and quietest flow-through silencer that Huxwrx Safety Co. manufactures and is meant for use with .17 and .22 caliber rimfire firearms. From a technology standpoint, the Flow 22 Ti relies on Huxwrx’s patented flow-through technology. These silencers not only capture the gun’s expanding gases to mitigate muzzle blast, but the device also works to vent them forward and away from the shooter. This reduces back pressure and decreases the amount of gases and lead particulates to which the shooter is exposed. To accomplish this, the Huxwrx Flow 22 Ti is 3D-printed from Grade 5 titanium material and incorporates Huxwrx’s internal baffle system which is a departure from the traditional baffle stack found in conventional silencers.
The Huxwrx Flow 22 Ti is suitable for both rimfire pistols and rifles and screws on directly to ½x28-tpi threading which is standard for virtually all threaded rimfire firearm muzzles. This means that both the silencer and the firearm require no additional modifications or muzzle adapters for use. The unit is quite compact and light in weight, weighing only 3.9 ounces and measuring 5.53 inches long.
