First Look: Daniel Defense Slate Spectre

Daniel Defense is releasing a limited-edition, fully integrated PCC (pistol-caliber carbine) platform, the Slate Spectre. Based on the trusted DD PCC foundation, the Slate Spectre is an expression of precision, performance and craftsmanship.

Building on the foundation of the Daniel Defense DDPCC, the Slate Spectre features a custom Midnight Chocolate Chip Cerakote finish, a match-grade Hiperfire trigger, Steiner MPS on a Unity Tactical FAST mount and an integrated custom SilencerCo Spectre 9k suppressor. This package is the first limited-series NFA integration released by Daniel Defense and includes a standard magazine, a Magpul D-50 drum magazine, a custom Protech Knife and a gun metal grey Royal case.

Daniel Defense Slate Spectre Features

  • Receivers: Compact platform is portable and easy to maneuver, with upper and lower receivers that are significantly shorter than a standard AR15-pattern rifle.
  • Lower Receiver: The fully ambidextrous lower enables the user to operate the pistol without moving the dominant hand from the pistol grip.
  • Magazine Release: Proprietary pushbutton mag release instead of paddle-style found on most PCCs.
  • Barrel: 8.3-inch, cold-hammer-forged barrel with 1:10 twist
  • Muzzle Device: Custom SilencerCo Spectre 9k suppressor
  • Buffer: 2.5-inch hydraulic buffer
  • Magazine: Uses CZ Scorpion magazines
  • Handguard: Lightweight, 7-inch DD4 rail with M-Lok attachment
  • Brace: Maxim Defense CQB Gen 7 Brace Assembly
  • Pistol Grip: Driven Arms Co VCG-L
  • Cerakote Finish: Midnight Chocolate Chip
