First Look: CZ P10 C Ported Pistol

CZ just introduced a new variant of its polymer-frame, striker-fired CZ P10 C model, the CZ P10 C Ported. This 9mm pistol retains all of the CZ P10 C’s dimensions but incorporates a barrel with 10-percent more mass, which also uses a low-profile, single-port, integrated compensator. This feature is located right behind its muzzle, forward of the handgun’s front sight. The inclusion of this single-port compensator and its additional mass are meant to make the gun flatter shooting and to also mitigate muzzle rise.

The new CZ P10 C Ported model retains all of the CZ P10 C’s features including its compact frame, which is EDC (everyday carry) friendly. It also uses interchangeable backstraps and retains the standard 15-round magazine. In addition to its unique porting and slightly different barrel, the new CZ P10 C Ported’s slide is also optics-ready from the factory and includes CZ P-09 Nocturne style three-dot night sights.

CZ P10 C Ported Specifications:

  • Caliber: 9mm
  • Magazine Capacity: 15 rounds
  • Barrel Length: 4.02 inches
  • Overall Length: 7.36 inches
  • Height: 5.2 inches
  • Weight (unloaded): 26.1 ounces
  • Frame: Fiber-reinforced polymer
  • Sights: Fixed three-dot, P-09 Nocturne style
  • Trigger Pull: Approximately 4 pounds, 8 ounces
  • Optics-Ready: Yes; direct-mount interface
  • Safety: Trigger safety, firing-pin block
  • Compensator: Integrated single-port compensator behind muzzle
  • Country Of Origin: Czech Republic

The CZ P10 series are duty-grade, polymer-frame, striker-fired pistols that date back to the mid 2010s, when CZ designed and developed a modern striker-fired pistol that adhered to stringent NATO service standards. The CZ P10 model family has variants, the full-size CZ P10 F, the compact P10 C and the sub-compact P10 S. In addition to the standard 9mm versions, other models are also available in .45 ACP.
