First Look: Bergara B-142 Cima CF Rifle

BPI Outdoors / Bergara Rifles is introducing the lightest B-14 model rifle yet, the B-142 Cima CF (Carbon Fiber). This new rifle is a demonstration by Bergara on how tradition can be refined by innovation. The Cima CF is built for outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate the balance and feel of a classic, sporter-style rifle, but also want modern innovations and reduced weight, creating a new rifle that weighs only 5.8 pounds.

While the industry continues to push toward lighter rifles, doing so while not compromising on performance and reliability can be a challenge. The Cima CF solves this problem with a rifle engineered from cutting-edge materials and proprietary manufacturing methods. It is designed to deliver the accuracy which shooters expect from Bergara, creating a rifle that has repeatable performance and rugged dependability in the harshest conditions.

The foundation of the Cima CF is its RTM sporter stock, built using a Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) process. This advanced method results in a 100-percent carbon-fiber stock that’s not only rigid, but also weighs just 18 ounces.

Inside, an SMC carbon mini-chassis is precision-fit to provide the action with a solid bedding platform. This chassis adds critical stiffness and rigidity without unnecessary weight, maximizing both structural integrity and accuracy.

Paired with a Bergara Cure carbon barrel, every element of the Cima CF is engineered for the most weight reduction without sacrificing performance. This rifle comes in a variety of popular calibers including .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, .22-250 Rem, 6.5 PRC, .300 Win Mag, 7mm PRC, and 300 PRC.

Bergara B-14 Cima CF Features

  • Barrel: Cure carbon barrel, No. 6 barrel taper
  • Barrel Thread: ⅝×24 tpi with Omni muzzlebrake
  • Finish: Sniper grey Cerakote
  • Stock: 100-percent carbon fiber with carbon spine and SMC Carbon Mini Chassis
  • Calibers: .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, .22-250 Rem, 6.5 PRC, .300 Win Mag, 7 PRC, 300 PRC

MSRP for the Cima CF rifle is $1,849.99, and more information on this firearm as well as other products from BPI Outdoors/Bergara is available at bergara.online.
