Azimuth Technology Surpasses Major Gun-Parts Manufacturing Milestones

Despite a widely publicized “new norm” in gun sales, Naples, FL-based Azimuth Technology recently reached new milestones in the number of major OEM parts it has delivered to the firearm industry. Earlier this month, the company announced it has provided more than 2.5 million AR-15/AR-10 bolt-carrier groups (BCGs) and over 1 million pistol barrels to gun manufacturers and aftermarket firms.

“For more than a decade, we’ve invested heavily in innovation, people and technology to ensure our partners receive components that perform flawlessly under any condition,” said Cameron Grantham, senior vice president of Azimuth Technology. “Surpassing 2.5 million BCGs and over 1 million pistol barrels represents not just production milestones, but the trust, confidence and enduring relationships we’ve built across the industry.”

Azimuth Technology specializes in precision engineering and manufacturing and serves the firearm, defense, aerospace and military sectors, The milestones reflect the company’s longstanding partnerships with firearm manufacturers of all sizes—ranging from the industry’s largest OEMs to specialized custom builders—who rely on its commitment to quality, precision and reliability.

With over 50 years of leadership experience, Azimuth continues to uphold its legacy of American excellence—driving innovation and supporting partners across multiple industries with precision-engineered solutions.

“We’re incredibly proud of the skilled workforce and long-standing relationships that made this milestone possible,” said Tommy Thacker, chief operating officer of Azimuth Technology. “Our commitment to U.S.-based precision manufacturing and true partnership with our customers is the foundation of our success, and I look forward to the continued growth we’ll achieve together.”

Azimuth Technology is an AS9100- and ISO 9001:2015-certified contract manufacturer operating 280 CNCs across three facilities totaling 107,000 square feet. It produces suppressors, barrels, slides, bolt-carrier groups and other mission-critical components. The company is a tribally owned enterprise of the Chumash, bringing a Native American ownership perspective to the industry.
