Xbox Game Pass Adds Super Cozy Day-One Open-World Game with Co-Op

Solarpunk is now available on Xbox Game Pass, having joined its library as a day-one title. Apart from the cozy survival game, the service also received two other titles in the 24-hour period ending June 8, one of which reached Xbox Game Pass completely out of the blue.

The surprise addition is Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Koei Tecmo’s popular soulslike that originally launched in March 2023. It was also a day-one addition to Microsoft’s subscription service, eventually leaving Xbox Game Pass in February 2025. With no prior notice, Wo Long returned to the service on June 7, shortly before its sequel was announced during the 2026 Xbox Games Showcase.

Cozy Survival Game Solarpunk Joins 2 Xbox Game Pass Tiers

After that unexpected addition, Solarpunk joined the service on June 8. The cozy open-world survival game was originally announced for Xbox Game Pass in late May 2026. While it enters a crowded market, Solarpunk aims to stand out from its rivals with super comfy vibes, airship exploration, and robust automation features centered on solar-powered drones. As its name implies, the game focuses on peaceful coexistence with nature, including both flora and fauna. It does not feature animal exploitation, instead promoting symbiosis, such as caring for pigs so that they dig up truffles.

Apart from Solarpunk, Xbox Game Pass also added Undisputed on June 8. Originally released in late 2024, the boxing sim launched to mixed reviews. Critics praised its attempt to push realism further and turn fight preparation into an RPG-like experience, but criticized its janky animations and lackluster commentary. The game’s overall reception was still strong enough for developer Steel City Interactive to officially announce Undisputed 2 in April 2026.
