Military.com Officially Announces Its First-Ever Homefront Grant. One Recipient Will Receive ,000.

Every day, Military.com tells the stories of service members, veterans, military spouses and caregivers who overcome challenges, pursue new opportunities and continue serving their communities long after military service.

This time, we want to help write the next chapter of one of those stories.

Today, Military.com is opening applications for its new $25,000 Homefront Grant. This is an initiative designed to provide one deserving member of the military community with funding to help overcome a significant challenge, pursue an important goal or create a brighter future.

Military life often brings opportunities that don’t fit neatly into existing programs or benefits. Sometimes the obstacle is financial. Sometimes it’s a difficult transition, an unexpected hardship or an opportunity that’s simply out of reach.

The Homefront Grant was created to help one deserving applicant take that next step.

Whether it’s pursuing education, launching a business, making a home more accessible, supporting a family through a difficult season or investing in a dream that can create lasting impact, we want to hear your story.

Military.com has always been committed to serving the military community through trusted journalism, resources and advocacy. The Homefront Grant is another way we can directly invest in the people who have served our nation and the families who stand beside them.

Who Can Apply?

The Homefront Grant is open to eligible members of the military community, including active-duty service members, veterans, National Guard and Reserve members, military spouses, caregivers and surviving family members, subject to the official eligibility requirements.

Applicants will be asked to share their story, explain the challenge or opportunity they are facing and describe how receiving the grant would make a meaningful difference in their lives.

What We’re Looking For

Military.com isn’t looking for the “perfect” story.

We’re looking for someone whose life could be meaningfully changed by this opportunity.

Whether you’re working to overcome a challenge, build something new, support those around you or create a better future, we want to hear what you’re striving toward and how this grant could help you get there.

Applications will be evaluated based on the applicant’s story, the potential impact of the grant and how the funding could help create meaningful, lasting change.

More Than a Grant

For more than two decades, Military.com has connected millions of service members, veterans and military families with trusted news, benefits information and resources.

The Homefront Grant is a new extension of that mission by not just reporting on the military community, but investing directly in it.

In the coming weeks, Military.com will announce additional partners supporting the initiative, along with a military community ambassador who will help share the stories behind the program and celebrate this year’s recipient.

Applications will remain open through Sept. 14, and one recipient will be selected to receive the $25,000 Homefront Grant.

How to Apply

Applications are now open.

Visit https://www.military.com/homefrontgrant to review the official eligibility requirements, learn more about the program and submit your application.

We can’t wait to hear your story.
