How Long is AC Blackflag Resynced?

How Long is AC Blackflag Resynced?

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is one of the longer entries among the classic Assassin’s Creed games. While it doesn’t reach the massive scale of the newer open-world titles like Valhalla, Odyssey, or Shadows, its story remains consistently engaging from start to finish.

If you’re mainly interested in Edward Kenway’s story, you can expect to finish AC Black Flag Resynced in around 20 to 22 hours. On top of the original campaign, the game adds a brand new chapter, along with plenty of optional content that can keep completionists busy for dozens of extra hours. Here’s how long you can expect your playthrough to take.

How Long Is AC Black Flag Resynced?

Main Story: 20 to 22 Hours

Throughout the campaign, you’ll follow Edward’s journey from pirate to Assassin while taking on several major antagonists across different chapters of the game.

Although the main story is fairly straightforward, the later sequences can become noticeably tougher if you’ve been ignoring side activities. Exploring islands on the map, hunting for crafting materials, upgrading the Jackdaw, and improving Edward’s equipment all make the main missions considerably easier, so it is worth taking a few detours along the way.

The game also includes multiple difficulty options, with Normal closely resembling the original experience. Players looking for a more relaxed playthrough can lower the difficulty or make use of various accessibility settings. While these won’t drastically change your overall completion time, they can shave off or add a few hours, depending on how comfortable you are with combat and naval encounters.
