Whether the product of cultural jingoism or good-natured pride in country – especially during its 250th anniversary year – American patriotism seems to be running rampant in popular culture. Ford Custom Garage wants in on the action, celebrating its native country with a special aftersales kit for the 2027 F-250 Super Duty, as well as its F-350 and F-450 siblings. Called the Proud to Honor package, it features boldly patriotic new vehicle graphics, plus a darkened exterior aesthetic that gives the trucks some sinister, aggressive personality. Better still, Ford will donate a portion of the proceeds from every Proud to Honor sale to veterans’ organizations.
Proud To Be An American
Ford Custom Garage offers the Proud to Honor package on any 2027 Super Duty model, including the Class 4 F-450 with dual rear wheels, as long as the buyer chooses a black exterior color. Available on XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum trims, it starts with a bold set of graphics for the doors and bedsides, the streaking American flag motif featuring red, white, and blue stripes and stars peppered over the body sides. A Ford Custom Garage logo set also shows up in the package.
The kit also includes some unique rolling stock. The single-rear-wheel configurations get a set of forged aluminum wheels with a contrasting rim and bright-finished lug nuts, while the F-350 and F-450 duallies get all-black, forged aluminum 19.5-inch commercial wheels – a first from the automaker considering these rollers usually come polished. Ford Custom Garage says the package will be available later this summer as the 2027 Super Duty begins hitting dealer order books.
Doing Some Actual Good
Although the package may seem like a good way to declare your patriotism, proud Americans can rest easy knowing that the sale of every Proud to Honor Super Duty will actually benefit the servicemembers who defend US interests at home and abroad. A portion of the proceeds from each order will go to Blue Star Families, a charity that supports military spouses and families through the unique struggles they face. The Proud to Honor Super Duty will also help fund Ford’s own veteran services programs, which are aimed toward current and past members of the military.
